London-based pianist Piers Lane is one of Australia’s most renowned and engaging performers. As artistic director, Piers brought exciting changes to SPICA 2016 with his enthusiasm, skills and sheer musical ability.

Andrew Haveron has a reputation as one of the most sought-after violinists of his generation. With his unrivalled versatility, he is highly respected as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster.

This is a collaboration not to be missed.

Five of Australia’s finest brass players come together to perform with exceptional artistry. The Australian Brass Quintet are dedicated to presenting creative and engaging programs including established masterpieces, innovative new works for the modern brass quintet and collaborations with local and international artists.

Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev is the winner of the Percy Grainger Second Prize of the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition and the Isador Goodman Best Preliminaries Round 2 Recital Prize.

Arseny is the grandson of famous Russian pianist Tatyana Nikolayeva – lifelong friend of Dmitri Shostakovich. In April, Arseny will make his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra with Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Piano Concerto and later this year tour Europe under the baton of Sir Roger Norrington. In celebration of signing with Decca Classics, Arseny will be touring Australia in October and November 2018.
