Coffs Harbour Music Society is a not-for-profit, incorporated body run by a small and enthusiastic committee of volunteers. The aim is to support and foster the appreciation and performance of fine music in Coffs Harbour.
The society has been offering yearly programs of fine music since the early 1990s featuring fine international and Australian musicians. Performers are engaged directly, through agents and through our on-going partnership with Musica Viva Australia, the foremost presenter of chamber music in Australia.
Each concert is preceded by free a pre-concert talk. These helpful and informal talks occur one hour before each performance and run for 20 – 30 minutes.
Generous discounts are offered to patrons who subscribe to four or more concerts in a calendar year. Prices for students and children are kept low to ensure access to fine music is affordable.
Coffs Harbour Music Society welcomes regular and returning patrons as well as newcomers. Concerts are relaxed and informal. The intimate theatre has ideal sightlines and excellent acoustics from every seat. The intimate setting also provides engagement between performers and the audience.
